Ingredients
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 4 cups potato, cubed
- 2 - 6 1/2 oz diced clams with juice
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup flour (approximate - may not need whole 1/2 cup)
- 1 quart half and half
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- cooked bacon, crumbled

Preparation
Step 1
In one pot, add juice from clams, onion, celery, and potatoes. Cover and cook until tender then add clams.
In second pot, melt butter, add flour, half and half, sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer until it thickens.
Mix the two together in one pot and warm through.
This is super good with a topper of cooked bacon.
