Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
- 1 dash soya sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander

Heat olive oil in a large skillet, add onions, and sweat them until they have softened. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer until the mixture reduces by half and thickens.
