Hot Fudge Sauce 2

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup whipping cream
  • 6 squares (1-oz each) bittersweet chocolate
  • 6 T butter
  • 1 T light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together sugar, cocoa, and salt (in blender?). In saucepan, heat cream, chocolate, and butter until melted and smooth, about 5 minutes. Add chocolate mixture, corn syrup, and vanilla to cocoa mixture and mix until blended. Serve over ice cream, strawberries, or pound cake. Store in refrigerator.
