Honey Citrus Broiled Salmon

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Each - fresh orange juice and honey
  • 1 Tbsp. Grated fresh ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. Crushed red pepper
  • 4 6 oz Salmon steaks (3/4 inches thick)

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, juice, honey, fresh ginger and red pepper. Reserve 1 tablespoon marinade; set aside.

Pour remaining marinade into a resealable plastic bag. Add salmon to bag. Turn to coat and let stand at room temperature 5 minutes. Heat broiler.

Coat cooking rack with cooking spray. Remove salmon and reserve marinade in bag. Broil salmon 4 minutes. turn and brush with marinade from bag. Broil 3 to 5 minutes or until just barely opaque at center.

Transfer to serving plates. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon reserved marinade from bowl.
