Cheesy Hash Browns

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (2 lbs) frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups real mayonnaise
  • 1 lb Velveeta cheese
  • 2 tbs milk
  • 1 c crushed corn flakes
  • 3/4 c butter
  • 6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled*

Preparation

Step 1

Mix and heat mayonnaise, cheese and milk until cheese melts. Combine cheese mixture with onions and hash potatoes in a 13 x 9 greased baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees, 30 - 45 minutes.

Combine cornflakes, butter and bacon. Sprinkle on top of potatoes and return to oven for 10 minutes.

*You can substitute 1/2 jar Hormel real bacon pieces for the fried bacon.
