Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. chocolate hazelnut spread
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- 1-1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 t. baking powder
- 3/4 t. baking soda
- 1/2 t. salt
- 12-oz. pkg. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, with an electric mixer on medium-high speed, beat together butter, hazelnut spread and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla; set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix together remaining ingredients except chocolate chips. Beat flour mixture into butter mixture; stir in chocolate chips. Chill dough at least 2 hours. Form tablespoonfuls of dough into balls.
Place on parchment paper-lined baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees, one baking sheet at a time, for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden. Cool baking sheets on wire racks for 5 minutes. Transfer cookies to wire racks and cool completely.
Makes about 4 dozen.
