  • Sauce:
  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. dry onion
  • 1/4 tsp. dry garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 C. evaporated milk
  • 1 C. dry bread crumbs
  • 2 C. boiling water
  • 2 tsp. instant beef bouillon
  • 1 C. evaporated milk
  • 1-10 oz. can cream of mushroom soup



Step 1

Combine beef, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix well. Add egg and milk; mix again. Add bread crumbs and mix well. Make meatballs. Brown in a skillet. While meatballs are browning, dissolve bouillon in boiling water. Place browned meatballs in kettle with bouillon and simmer for 30 mins. If needed add 1 more cup of water. When 30 mins. is up, remove meatballs. Add evaporated milk and mushroom soup to kettle. Mix. Return meatballs to mixture and bring to a boil. Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice or noodles.
