Ingredients
- 4 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. crushed thyme
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. packaged dried small shell macaroni
- 1 (16 oz) package frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 c. chopped turkey (chicken may be substituted)
- 2 c. Florida's Natural Premium orange juice
- Orange slices, halved (optional)
- Herb sprigs (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
In a large saucepancombine broth, water, thyme and pepper. Bring to a boil. Stir in macaroni. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Boil gently, uncovered for 5 to 7 minutes or until vegetables and pasta are tender. stir in turkey and orange juice. Heat through. If desired, garnish with orange slices and herb sprigs. Serves 5-6.
