Ara's Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 pkgs. dry yeast
  • 8 c. flour

Preparation

Step 1

Put hot water, butter, sugar and salt in a bowl and stir until sugar and salt are dissolved. Add eggs and sprinkle in yeast. Add flour (enough for a soft dough). Knead. Let rise till double. Punch down and shape into rolls. Let rise till double. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or till lightly browned. (Makes 4 1/2 dozen.)
