Firey Sweet Pickles (dills made into sweet)

Ingredients

  • 32 oz. sliced dill pickles
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. bottle hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 tea. dried red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 tea. fresh minced garlic
  • 1/2 tea. dehydrated minced onion

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, stirring together well. Cover and let stand at room temperature for 2 hours, stirring ocasionally.

Spoon pickles into jars then pour juice equally into both jars. Cover with lids and store in the refrigerator.

Pickles will be crunchy, sweet and spicy.
