CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE CRUNCH

  • 6 oz. chopped semi sweet chocolate
  • 2 - 8 oz. sticks margarine
  • 1 tbsp. margarine
  • 16 oz. creamy peanut butter
  • 3 c. crispy rice cereal
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. icing sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Line 8" square pan with parchment paper. In Medium saucepan melt 1/2 chocolate and 1 tbsp. margarine over low heat. Remove from heat, stir in 1 c. peanut butter and 2 c. rice crispies. Spread the mixture evenly in pan. Refrigerate until set about 15 minutes. Wash out pan. In pan combine remaining margarine and salt, melt over medium heat - stire. Remove from heat and stir in remaining peanut butter and icing sugar. Spread 1/2 peanut butter mixture over rice crispies. Top with remaining 1 c. rice crispies. In small bowl, microwave remaining chocolate at medium temperature until melted - 1 1/2 minutes. Stir in remaining peanut butter. Spread evenly over the peanut butter layer. Refrigerate 45 minutes before cutting/
