ALMOND ROCCA

  • 3 1/2 oz. slivered almonds
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 6 oz. milk chocolate chips chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Butt 9" pie plate. Cover bottom of pan with almonds, keep out 2 tbsp. for later. Heat butter over med heat until melted. Add brown sugar and stir constantly with wooden spoon for 7 minutes. Pour hot sugar mixture over almonds and spread with spatula to edges. Immediately sprinkle with chipits. Let melt then spread with knife. Sprinkle with reserved almonds while chocolate is warm
