Sherry Chicken

Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 3 lb. chicken, cut up
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 2 c. sherry
  • 2 Tbs. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. MSG
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 thin slice ginger, chopped finely
  • Oil for frying

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil in skillet. Brown chicken on all sides, drain off excess oil. Add sauce & bring to a boil. Boil for 25 minutes, covered. Reduce heat & simmer 15 min. longer.
