Cracker Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 chicken breast halves, skinned
  • 1 3/4 cups Saltine crackers, crushed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, celery salt, garlic powder, onion powder and pepper in a bowl; mix well.

2. Brush chicken breasts, coating well. Place chicken breasts in a 13 x 9" dish, cover and refrigerate overnight.

3. Combine cracker crumbs and paprika; roll chicken in crumb mixture, coating well. Place chicken in a lightly greased 3 qt casserole. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until the chicken is tender.
