Ingredients
- 2 c. fresh raspberries, rinsed and thoroughly drained
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 T. cold water and 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
Step 1
Force berries through a sieve into a small heavy saucepan. Blend in sugar only. Mix water and cornstarch to make a smooth paste. Thoroughly blend with berry mixture. Stirring gently and constantly, bring rapidly to boiling. Continue to stir and boil about 3 minutes. Set aside to cool. Store in refrigerator.
