WHOLE WHEAT WAFFLES

  • 3 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 5 eggs, separate and beat whites
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. oil or melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Combine dry ingredients. Beat eggs; add milk and oil or butter. Gradually stir egg mixture into dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Cook on heated waffle iron until steaming stops.
