Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. raw rice
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 T. shortening
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 1 c. water
Preparation
Step 1
Mix beef, rice, onion and seasonings and form into meatballs. Put in hot fat, turning frequently until light brown but not crusty on all sides. Add tomato sauce to water. Mix well. Cover and simmer about 45 minutes. 4 servings.
