Ingredients
- 1/2 garlic clove
- 1 cup packed fresh basil leaves
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Fit a food processor with a metal chopping blade. Wit hte michine running, drop the garlic through the tube to minch it.
2. Stop the michine and add the basil. Pulse a few times to chop it. With the machine running, add the lemon juice, oil and 2 tablespoons water and process into a thin sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Let stasnd at room temperature unitl ready to serve but no longer than an hour.
