Ingredients

  • 2 - 28 oz canned tomatoes
  • 2 - 7 1/2 oz canned tomato sauce
  • 1 - Red Pepper Chopped
  • 2 - Green Peppers Chopped
  • 2 c- Chopped Onion
  • 2/3 c White Vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Tsp. Coarse salt
  • 2 Tsp. Paprika
  • 1/2 Tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp. Whole Oregano
  • 1/4 Tsp. - 1 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper

Step 1

Measure all ingredients into large saucepan. Heat, stirring often, until mixture starts to boil. Boil slowly, uncovered, for about 1 1/2 hours until thickened.

Makes 7 half pint jars.
