  • Ratio of 3 Parts Oil To 1 Part Acid
  • Cider Vinegar 1 cup (8 oz)
  • Salad Oil 3 cups (24 oz)
  • Dry Flavorings? Your choice: Mustard Powder, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Dijon Mustard etc.
  • Salt and Pepper To Taste
  • Chopped Lavender (dry) 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped Fresh Rosemary 1 tsp

Preparation

Step 1

1.Start with the vinegar in the bowl with herbs, spices, and flavorings.
2.Dry spices, sugars, mustard etc help to emulsify your vinaigrettes.
3.While whisking rapidly, slowly add the oil in a thin stream to start an emulsion.
Note: If you fail to add the oil slowly the emulsion may be lost!
