GRILLED SPICY CITRUS CHIX THIGHS WITH CORN & GREEN ONIONS

Ingredients

  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 2/3 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 2 t. hot sauce
  • 2 t. dried crushed red pepper
  • 16 large chic thighs with skin & bone (~6 lb.)
  • 16 green onions
  • 8 ears corn, husked

Step 1

Whisk first 7 ingredients in medium bowl. Season marinade with salt & pepper. Place chix in resealable bag. Place green onions and corn in large resealable bag. Divide marinade equally between bags, turning to coat. Chill chix, corn and onions 4 hrs. turning occasionally.
Remove chix & vegetables from marinade, discard marinade. Grill chix ~ 25 min. Grill onions & corn until charred on all sides, ~6 min. for onions & 13 min. for corn. Transfer to platter to serve.
