Ingredients
- 2/3 margarine
- 1 cup golden corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup currants or raisins
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- Tart shells

Preparation
Step 1
Melt margarine in saucepan. Mix in corn syrup, brown sugar, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla. Let cool. Add two eggs beaten sufficient to combine whites and yolks. Pour filling into tart shells.
Bake at 450F for 10 - 15 minutes. Losen sides, let cool 10 minutes, remove from tins.
