Slowly break down the pecans in a blender. Do not add water! Trust…
Continue blending, scraping down the sides often. Let the blender’s motor rest often so it does not overheat.
Once the pecan oils are released, it will blend together with ease. Continue scraping down the sides as needed and blend until it is as smooth as you like it.
Scrape the pecan butter into a Mason jar , cover, label, and keep in the fridge for up to 6 months. If you do not refrigerate, the oils may become rancid.
