Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plus 2T butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg beaten
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 6 T baking cocoa
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup mini semi sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup peppermint candy canes, crushed
Preparation
Step 1
Blend together butter, sugar, egg and vanilla, Beat for 4 minutes, until creamy. In a a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; stir into butter mixture and blend well. Fold in chocolate chips. Scoop dough by teaspoonfuls and roll in crushed candy. Place on lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 9 minutes
