Ingredients

    cups cubed leftover turkey

  • 2

    cups chopped butter lettuce

  • 1

    large avocado, diced

  • 1

    large Roma tomato, diced

  • 4

    strips cooked bacon, chopped

  • 2

    ounces blue cheese, crumbled

  • 4

    Tablespoons mayonnaise

  • 1

    Tablespoon balsamic vinegar

  • 2

    teaspoons freshly ground pepper

  • 1

    teaspoon salt

  • 6

    (6-inch) pitas, halved

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients. Set aside. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, pepper, and salt. And dressing to salad and toss to coat. For each sandwich, fill each of 2 pita halves with 1/2 cup salad.
