Ingredients
- 8 oz McVities rich tea biscuits
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 4 oz dark chocolate
- 1 egg beaten
- 8 oz dark chocolate for icing

Preparation
Step 1
Grease a small cake ring and lay on a parchment plate.
Break each of the biscuits into almond size pieces
Cream butter and sugar,
Melt 4oz chocolate in double boiler then add creamed butter and sugar., stirring constantly and the add the egg, and stirring constantly continue to mix in the biscuit pieces.
Fill the ring with the mixture. Remember the bottom will be the top later.
Leave in fridge for three hours.
Turn out onto a cooling rack and melt 8 oz of dark chocolate as an icing. Pour over the cake, smoothing top and sides.
