Ingredients
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1/4 c. coarse-grained mustard
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 (1 1/2-lb.) flank steak

Step 1
Whisk together first 3 ingredients. Place steak in a shallow dish or large zip-top plastic freezer bag. Pour molasses mixture over steak, reserving 1/4 cup for basting. Cover or seal and chill turning occasionally 2 hours. Remove meat from marinade, discarding marinade. Grill covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat (350 degrees to 400 degrees) 6 minutes on each side or to desired degrees of doneness, brushing often with reserved 1/4 cup marinade. Cut steak diagonally across the grain into very thin strips.
