Candied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup light Karo
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter

Preparation

Step 1

Slice sweet potatoes lengthwise. Cover with water and bring to boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Pour most of water off and add sugar, syrup, salt and butter. Boil till it starts to get thick. Pour into pyrex dish and bake for a few minutes.
