Mexican Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. tortillas
  • 1 large fryer, about 2 1/2 lbs.
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • garlic salt

Preparation

Step 1

Boil chicken and remove from bones.
Grate cheese, chop onions and bell pepper. Soften tortillas in boiling chicken broth.
Line large baking dish with tortillas. Add chicken , onion, pepper, cheese, garlic salt, soups and tomatoes. Sprinkle top with chili powder. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
