  • 4 large tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 large red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 jalapeño, minced
  • 1 chili pepper with seed, minced (omit seeds for milder version)
  • 1 large handful cilantro, roughly chopped
  • 4 tbsp tomato purée (to desired consistency)
  • 2-3 tbsp. lime juice (can sub. lemon)
  • a dash cumin
  • 1 tsp. low-sodium vegan vegetable stock powder (optional)
