Ingredients
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- zest of 1/2 lime
- 3 cups fresh pineapple chunks
- 2 star anise pods
- 1 1/2 Tbs. white rum
- juice of 2-3 oranges, 2/3 cup
- 2 1/2 cups dry white wine

Preparation
Step 1
heat nonstick skillet over med-high heat
in med. bowl combine sugar ginger and lime zest
add pineapple and toss
scape pineapple into skillet add star anise, cook without stirring about 5 min. until caramelized
stir in rum and let alcohol burn off about 3 min.
remove from heat and stir in oj, scraping pan, let cool
discard anise, puree fruit mix, stir in white wine
pour into ice pop molds
freeze until solid about 4 hrs.
