Ingredients

  • 1 acorn squash, sliced in half (will look like a star)
  • 2 T butter, melted
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Honey

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400.

Scoop out seeds and pulp from squash.

Brush each half with butter
Sprinkle with sugar and salt
Drizzle with a little bit of honey

Place in oven for 1 hour or until tender.
Cover with foil if the top starts to burn.

Each squash makes 2 servings.

To make a meal, fill the roasted squash with filling – like rice mix or chopped meat.
