Chicken Egg Drop Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted just til warm
  • 7 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • flour
  • chicken bouillon
  • celery, chopped
  • onion, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Boil chicken with celery and onion until done. Pull meat off bone and add back to broth. Add water and bouillon to soup to taste. Bring to a boil.

Whip eggs with salt and pepper. Add melted butter. Add enough flour until dumpling consistency. Drop into boiling stew and cook until dumplings are done.
