Italian Sausage Tortellini Alfredo

Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 19 oz pkg frozen cheese tortellini
  • 19 oz pkg Mild Italian Sausage Links (cooked and sliced)
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper (diced or julienne)
  • 1/2 onion (julienne)
  • 9 oz pkg fresh spinach
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 4 TBS butter (sliced)
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp garlic salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Spray 9x13 glass baking dish with vegetable spray.

In large saucepan over medium heat, add cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, milk, and butter. Cook until smooth. Season with garlic salt. Use a whisk to blend.

In a large skillet, saute sausage slices, bell pepper, and onion until veggies are tender. Drain & pour into the baking dish. Spread spinach evenly over the top.

Prepare tortellini as directed. Spread tortellini over the spinach and sausage.

Pour cheese sauce evenly over everything in the dish.

Bake 10 minutes.
