Walnut Sauce

Ingredients

  • 20 oz. Walnuts
  • 2 Qt. Heavy cream
  • 1 Qt. Milk
  • 1 Vanilla bean
  • 750 gr. White wine
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 ea. Pears

Preparation

Step 1

Heat cream, milk and vanilla
Infuse with walnuts for 40 min.

Poach pears in wine

Blend, mix all and strain
