Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound pork tenderloin
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
2. Season all sides of tenderloin with Italian seasonings, salt and pepper
3. Heat olive oil in a large heavy-bottomed skillet
4. Add pork to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes per side
5. Transfer skillet to the oven for about 15 minutes or until the internal temperature is 140 degrees
6. Remove from the oven, cover and let rest for 5 minutes.
7. While pork is resting, whisk together the butter, garlic, onion powder and parsley
8. Cut and plate the tenderloin.
9. Pour the butter mixture into the skillet and heat.
10. Pour the garlic butter over the sliced pork.
