  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c milk
  • 1/2 t salt

Preparation

Step 1

Make sure eggs and milk are at room temperature.
Preheat over to 425 degrees.
Put pea-sized pieces of butter in each cup of your popover/muffin pan and place in oven to preheat for 5-10 minutes (shorter for aluminum muffin pan, longer for cast iron popover pan.)
Beat all ingredients together.
Divide batter between cups.
Bake 20 minutes at 425.
Reduce heat to 375. Bake another 25 minutes.
Serve hot with butter.
