Fried Turkey

Ingredients

  • 24 oz salt
  • 2 ox black pepper
  • 6 oz red pepper
  • 2 oz garlic powder
  • 4 oz polutry seasoning
  • 6 oz louisisana hot sauce
  • 2 onions, quartered
  • 1/2 stalk celery
  • water to cover
  • Cheapest brand turkey

Preparation

Step 1

mix everything in a big ice chest.
Turn Turkey 3-4 times a day for at least 2 days.
Heat peanut oil to 350.
Fry until internal temp is 180-185.

A 38 quart pot uses 4 gallons peanut oil.
