German Chocolate Coconut Pecan Frosting

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/3 cup cricso shortening
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/3 cup coconut
  • 1 cup pecans

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, yolks and shortening, stirring constantly over medium heat until boiling.

2. Remove from heat and add vanilla, coconut and pecans, stir well and let cool.
