Why pay the high price for store bought?

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Heavy Cream (very cold temperature is best)
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Pour cream into a food processor or blender (I use the Kitchen Aide on Speed 8 until creamed).

Process for 10 minutes, or until the butter separates.

Strain off the liquid.

Season to taste with salt if you like.

Press butter with the back of a spoon, or spatula, to further remove the liquid.
