Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Preparation

Step 1

Mix pumpkin puree, eggs, vegetable oil, water, sugar and vanilla.

In separate bowl, mix: flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger.

Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Mix. Don’t over mix though, you want to mix just until your dry ingredients aren’t dry.

Pour mixture into 3- 7x3 loaf pans.

Melt the butter and add it to the rest of the ingredients. (Add the milk a little at a time. You may need less, you may need more.)
