Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1½ Cup flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1½ Cup milk or buttermilk
  • 1 egg

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients well. Make a well in the flour mixture. Add the milk and egg. Stir until all the wet ingredients are incorporated into the dry ingredients.

Using a large pan or griddle, lightly grease. Heat till medium hot. Pour batter (1/3 cup) to make pancakes. Watch for tiny bubbles to pop which indicates it is time to turn the pancake over. Turn over and let cook until light brown.
