Waffled French Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, whipped
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon more if you like
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 6 slices bread

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs until foamy. Whisk in milk, cinnamon, sugar and vanilla. Dip as many slices of bread in egg mixture, turning to coat thoroughly that will fit in your WAFFLE iron-letting excess drip back into bowl.

2. Preheat your WAFFLE iron and lay in the prepared bread slice or slices. Close (no need to press) and cook about 4-5 mins. The longer you leave the crisper they get!

3. Transfer to a warm plate and keep warm in oven. Repeat with remaining bread and egg mixture. To serve, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or Maple syrup, or fresh fruit and whipped cream.
