Acorn Squash

  • 3 acorn squash
  • 6 T brown sugar
  • 3 T butter
  • 1 apple chopped

Step 1

Cut squash in half, scoop out seeds. Place cut side down in shallow baking dish filled with 1/4" water. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes. Turn squash, fill with 1 T brown sugar, 1/2 t butter, one sixth apple. Add more water to pan if necessary. Continue baking until squash and apples are tender (about 20-25 minutes).
