Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (9 oz) frozen French cut whole green beans
  • 4 slices bacon in bite-size pieces
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1 onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1 can hearts of Palm slices
  • 1/4 c. Mayonnaise
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Stem beans until tender. Set aside. Fry bacon until crisp, saving aft.sauté celery & onion in bacon fat until clear. Toss all ingredients, including bacon fat, into a 1 quart casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes until bubbly.
