Ingredients

  • Mix:
  • 1 cup corn meal
  • 1 tbl. baking powder
  • 11/2 tsp. salt
  • Make well in center. Add:
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Blend well, fold in No. 303 can corn, drained
  • Pour half batter in greased square or muffin tins.
  • Cover with:
  • 1/4 lb. grated cheddar cheese'1 four oz. can chopped green chilis
  • Pour remaining batter over and bake at 375 for 30-45 min.
