Grand Turk Conch Fritters

Ingredients

  • 5 Raw conchs
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 1 Tomato Diced
  • 1/2 Sweet pepper - peeled, cored & sliced
  • 1/2 Bird pepper
  • 1 rib Celery
  • 1 Tbsp. Tomato paste
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Mix well and drop by spoonfuls into deep hot fat (375 degrees) and fry til golden brown. Serve with hot sauce and caution.
