Ingredients
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
- clove garlic, finely chopped (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed tomatoe soup
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup water
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350°. Cook noodles following package directions. Drain and reserve. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a no-stick skillet on medium-high. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook for 6 minutes or until beef is no longer pink. Drain off excess liquid. Stir in oregano, salt, soup ⅓ cup water and noodles. Take off the heat and add half the cheese. Spoon into 11x7 baking dish and sprinkle remaining cheese over the top. Bake at 350°for 25-30 minutes until bubbly. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
