Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp canola oil
- 4 tsp minced garlic from a jar
- 5 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp white vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3 green onion, cut diagonally into 1/2" pieces
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
Preparation
Step 1
1. Place chicken and cornstarch in a bowl, toss to coat. Heat oil in a large skillet over med-high heat. Fry the chicken and garlic until chicken is browned.
2. Stir in soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and water. Cover, cook 5 mins. Stir in green onions and cayenne pepper, cook, uncovered for 2 mins. Serve over white rice.
