Fudge Pudding Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 C flour
  • 2 t baking powder
  • 1 t salt
  • 2/3 c sugar
  • 2 T cocoa
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 2 T melted butter
  • 1/2 C ch. nuts (optional)
  • 1 1/2 C boiling water
  • 1 C brown sugar
  • 1/4 / C cocoa

Preparation

Step 1

1. Sift first 5 ingredients together. Combine milk, vanilla and butter, add to dry ingred. Beat til smooth, stir in nuts if desired. Spread batter in buttered 9" pan.

2. Mix brown sugar and 1/4 c cocoa and sprinkle over batter. Pour boiling water over entire cake.

3. Bake 350 deg. 50 mins. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
